KORAAL CARE FACILITIES

Koraal provides care, education, and employment for people of all ages with severe intellectual disabilities and complex behavioral and/or psychiatric challenges. Clients and students receive the support they need at specific moments in their lives. To optimize the management, comfort, and costs of the climate control systems across its various locations, Koraal sought a partner and solution. They chose Risto Regeltechniek, an Automated Logic value added reseller in The Netherlands.

Currently, Koraal has connected 23 locations for care, education, and employment, with this number continuing to grow. The connected installations at these locations are climate-related. Their centralized organization aims to improve control over these systems and gain better insights into their operational costs.

Koraal operates numerous locations with individual climate systems. The organization seeks a centralized solution to manage these systems efficiently and to gain more transparency in their operational costs and outcomes.

There is a need for uniformity in management and maintenance, leading to improved system performance and reduced energy consumption and costs. Additionally, end-users and maintenance companies should be able to access the central management system regardless of location. Enhancing comfort for clients, students, and employees is also a key priority.

The WebCTRL building automation system is used by the Koraal organization for centralized control of all building systems to gain insight into the costs and benefits of climate systems at the connected locations. Through the platform, malfunction reports can also be forwarded to maintenance companies.
